Enjoying vacations in Spain definitely means sailing, golfing, shopping, sun bathing. But not many know that there is more to Spain than sun and sand. Supported with amazing cities and tourist attractions, Spain is located in southern Europe and being a democratic land, it is a great holiday destination. Surrounded with Bay of Biscay, Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean on north, east and south respectively, Spain is also known for its heritage, culture and architecture other than its beaches and bullfights. Barcelona

Barcelona is famous for its steer caf?nd Mediterranean beaches, Seville (capital of Andalusian) for its inspirational literature, music and art as well as for its street concerts and ‘Flamenco’ shows.

Majorca is one of the most sought after tourist destinations when it comes to enjoying holidays abroad. The word Majorca means ‘larger island’, and yes, it truly is the biggest island in Spain and is situated in Mediterranean Sea. It was in the year 1952 when this island first started attracting tourists commercially, and since then, has worked its way up to become one of the most popular tourist destinations for vacationing. Majorca also has two mountainous regions which are 70 km in length and have mostly covered up the north-western side of the island.

The Parque Natural de Sa Dragonera

You can visit this place either by road or walk to it along the coastline. The vegetation here is based on Mediterranean species like heather, buckthorns, rosemary and dwarf palms. The Parque Natural de Sa Dragonera has one of the biggest varieties of birds- herring gulls, Eleonor’s falcon and shag.

The Parque Natural de S’Albufera de Mallorca

It is situated in the North of Majorca. It is a coastline which is made up of lakes and simulated canals. The dunes here are covered with pines. As for the fauna, there are weasels, tortoises, calopet, and martens.

The twelve columns and the arcs of horseshoe of the square central room support a cupola done of bricks with diverse round openings. The capitals of the columns are of great stylistic diversity. Their construction materials probably came from other buildings. The two main rooms those are used for baths with a small courtyard are opened and at least ten people are allowed on one given time.

The Bellver Castle

The Bellver Castle was made by King James II in 1300. It is at a distance of three kilometers from Palma and it is at a height of 112 meters from the sea. It is structured in a circular shape which makes the castle more interesting. The castle bears the palace form architecture from the inside.
